Who We Are

The Belvoir Thrift Shop is a private non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that operates on post with the permission of the Garrison Commander and is licensed by the Command every two years. Although we operate on post, we are a private non-profit organization and our operating policies are established internally. Those policies are not dictated by the Army or any government organization and they are a condition customers must accept if they choose to do business here.

The Thrift Shop distributes grants to include, but not limited to, the following programs and organizations: Belvoir Family Advocacy Program, Emergency Food Voucher Program, Survivor Outreach Program, Mobilization/Deployment & Family Readiness Program, Exceptional Family Member Program, Military Spouse Employment Program, Employment Readiness Program, Army Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, Operation Sugar Plum, DAU-EFMP Easter Egg Hunt, Belvoir Scout Troops, MVHS All Night Graduation Party, National Military Family Association, the Wounded Warrior Programs here on post as well as scholarships to military dependents!!
